Faster Feedback Manager
The Feedback Manager has been improved which allows for a faster measurement process. This is available for hearing aids with firmware version 1.1.0 or newer.

Easier Access to Real Ear Fit Measurement Protocol
The HCP is now able to change the Real Ear Fit Measurement protocol under Fit Instrument -> REM. This means that the HCP can easily switch between Insertion gain and Speech mapping (Aided Response). This is much quicker and more accessible.

Blurring Background in Remote Fitting
HCPs are now able to blur their background when they are in a Remote Fitting session.

Call controls update
Easier accessibility to additional information regarding Call controls, for both Button controls and tap control compatibility.

Configurable Service check mode- Audible Indicators

HearSuite 2024.1.1 is an update to version 2024.1 and includes a fix that resolves the cases where the SoundGuide value was not set back to ON after doing a REM measurement. The update also resolves cases where the fitting software would sometimes have a slow startup.

The new version of Philips HearSuite supports the new Hearlink 50 hearing aid family and includes the following new features:

Minifit detect: The new hearing aid family comes with a new smart speaker called miniFit Detect. Philips HearSuite 2024.1 supports this new speaker. This speaker allows the fitting software to read information about fitting level, length, side and serial number, directly in to the fitting software.

Tap Call control: Philips Hearlink 9050, 7050 and 5050 supports tap call control, which allows the client to accept or decline a call by tapping on the ear. This is enabled as default and can be configured in the fitting software

Audible Contrast Threshold: In Philips HearSuite 2024.1 it is possible to import or manually input an ACT score that will affect the prescription of help-in-noise features in Hearlink 40 hearing aid family and onwards.

Fitting in the charger: With the Philips Hearlink 50 hearing aid family, it is possible to conduct the fitting while the hearing aids are in the charger.

Probe tube placement guide: For REMfit, a probe tube placement guide will be available when using IMC2 compatible REM systems. This guide can help place the probe tube optimally, for the best measurement.

Sound Guide: In the fitting software, it is possible to turn on and off the Sound Guide. Sound Guide will be on as default and available for Philips Hearlink 9050 and Philips Hearlink 7050

SoundMap Noise Control: In the SoundMap Noise control screen, a Very High setting is added to the Noise Reduction Mode, giving up to 12 dB noise reduction

Data Logging: It is possible to get more precise information on actual wearing time in data logging, as sensors in the hearing aids are giving information about when the hearing aids are actually worn on the ears.

HearSuite 2023.2.1 is an update to version 2023.2 and includes a fix that resolves the cases where Noahlink Wireless green LED’s kept blinking after exiting the fitting software. The update also enables the saving of all the changes to the ABR correction values in audiogram preferences.

Important notice before updating (for stand-alone database users)

For professionals using the stand-alone database version of the fitting software, please make sure to do a backup copy of the database before updating to version 2023.2.

If a later downgrade is needed to 2023.1, the database will not be usable by the previous version of the fitting software, which means no access to the hearing aid user’s data.

Please reach out to your local customer support if you experience issues with downgrading the software.

The HearSuite 2023.2 update includes the following functionalities:

Sound equalizer (app function only)

Notifications of use and EQ settings for sound equalizer are visible in Data Logging.

Remember volume settings

This feature saves the hearing aid user’s preferred volume in each program and will use that volume level if the hearing instruments are restarted. The feature is toggled off by default and can be enabled under Finish Session in the Save and Quit screen.

The hearing aid user’s current volume settings are visible in Data Logging if the feature is enabled.

Connection Count privacy update

The hearing aid user must now confirm the use of Connection Count, located in Data Logging. Existing HearLink 40 fittings with Connection Count enabled will have the feature disabled automatically upon follow-up visit, after the clinician has updated the fitting software to HearSuite 2023.2.

Re-activation requires consent from the hearing aid user and can be enabled under Finish Session in the Save and Quit screen.

Philips HearSuite 2023.1 offers fitting features for the new Philips HearLink 40 family of hearing instruments

The following new features and functionalities have been added to this release:

SoundProtect Wind Noise Management

This new SoundMap Noise Control feature designed for listening comfort reduces the impact of wind and handling noise when the hearing instrument is exposed to wind or touched (e.g. through hair or when inserted to the ear).

Stronger SoundProtect Transient Noise Management

Two stronger settings have been added to SoundProtect Transient Noise Management (very high to Philips HearSuite 9040, 7040 and 5040 and maximum to Philips HearSuite 9040) to increase protection against unwanted sudden loud noise.

Connection Count

A new tab has been added in the Data Logging section to support the new Connection Count feature in Philips HearLink 40.
The features shows the amount of time that the client was speaking in total and per sound environment.
This data is recorded in the hearing instrument and is displayed, per wearing period (from fitting session to fitting session). The latest periods between fitting sessions can be used for comparison.
A dialog box for the professional helps to discuss with the client about positive hearing habits and their individual needs.

Notify me

A verbal announcement can be activated in the Philips HearLink 40 hearing aids instead of the battery low indicator beep. The Notify Me settings menu is found in the Audible Indicators screen.

Philips HearLink Tinnitus SoundSupport

Tinnitus SoundSupport is a new feature in Philips HearLink 40 hearing aids. The hearing aids can generate sounds for use in a Tinnitus management program to help clients suffering from tinnitus. A variety of different sounds can be selected to suit the client’s preference. The sounds can be modified by level, frequency shape and modulation.

Philips HearSuite 2022.2 supports the new HearLink 30 custom hearing instrument styles, as well as the new HearLink 00 family of hearing instruments.

Additional measurement levels in Real Ear Fit

Additional measurement levels for real ear measurements (REM) in Real Ear Fit have been added. Soft levels (input levels of 50 and 55 dB) and loud levels (input levels of 75 and 80 dB) can be chosen for REM modules using the inter module communication protocol 2 (IMC2). Furthermore, 55 dB has been added as a soft level when using Verifit®LINK (loud and moderate input levels of 75 dB and 65 dB remain unchanged). Soft and loud levels are configurable in Preferences in HearSuite 2022.2.

Transfer of targets from HearSuite to IMC2 compatible REM systems

REM targets from the proprietary fitting rationales can now be transferred from HearSuite to IMC2 compatible REM systems. This makes it possible to verify against Fit4Speech and Fit4Comfort fitting rationales, optimizing the fitting and enhancing the overall experience for the client.

Transfer of audiogram and fitting parameters from Philips HearSuite to Audioscan Verifit REM systems

Client audiograms and fitting parameters can now be transferred from HearSuite to the Verifit1 or Verifit2. This removes the need to manually enter the data directly into the Verifit, which reduces the risk of errors.
