How to pair hearing aids with Philips Remote Control

1

Check the batteries in your remote control

Press any button to check that the status indicator light illuminates.

If the batteries are running low, the status light will blink rapidly whenever a button is pressed. In this case, replace the batteries.

If the batteries are over a year old and the pairing steps are unsuccessful we recommend replacing them.

2

Restart your hearing aids to activate pairing mode

Turn your hearing aids off and then on again.

  • For hearing aids with disposable batteries, open the battery drawers and then close them.
  • For rechargeable hearing aids, turn them off by pressing the lower button of each hearing aid for three seconds. Then turn them on again by pressing the lower button of each hearing aid for two seconds. Alternatively, put them in the charger and then take them out again.
3

When you use the remote control

When you use the remote control to adjust your hearing aids, you will hear a sound to confirm the action has been performed.

You can operate your hearing aids with the remote control from a distance of up to 1.8 metres (3.3 feet).

4

Unpairing hearing aids from the remote control

To use the remote control with different hearing aids, you have to remove any other pairings.

To clear the current pairing, press and hold the three buttons together for five seconds.

When the status light on the remote control illuminates steady green for 10 seconds, the pairing has been cleared successfully.
