Connect to Remote Fitting with just 3 simple steps

Please note: please schedule an appointment with your hearing care specialist before starting an online session.

    Create an account and sign in.

    Join your remote visit and wait for your hearing care specialist.

Before the online fitting session

  • You need a stable Internet connection – recommend min speed 1/1 Mbit/s.
  • Pair your hearing aids with the smartphone or tablet you will use for the online fitting session if not already done.
  • Make sure your phone or tablet is charged (at least 50 %).
  • Insert fresh batteries in your hearing aids. If you have rechargeable hearing aids, make sure they are fully charged.
  • Enable Bluetooth® on your smartphone or tablet.
  • Close other apps than the Philips HearLink 2 app.

Additional for Android devices:

  • Enable Google Chrome.
  • Set power saving mode to “off”.
  • Give permission to localization or the hearing aid(s) will not be visible.

How to start the online fitting session

  1. Open the Philips HearLink 2 app and tap "More".
  2. Tap "Remote Fitting" and log in.
  3. Follow the steps in the app until you get to the virtual waiting room.
  4. Wait for your hearing care specialist to start the session.

If you have challenges with the connection, the app will make troubleshooting suggestions. If you keep having trouble with the app or the connection, please contact your hearing care specialist.

During the online fitting session

  • Keep your hearing aid(s) and the phone or tablet within 5 meters distance.
  • Do not turn off your hearing aid during the session or open the battery drawer.
  • Keep Bluetooth® activated.
  • Make sure your phone is online and kept on either Wi-Fi or mobile data throughout the entire session.
  • Keep the Philips HearLink 2 app open during the entire session – do not switch to another app.
  • If you get a phone call during the session, you should decline the call.
